Independent Banker Magazine recognizes 2017 social media and marketing leaders
WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 13, 2017) — Independent Banker® magazine, the award-winning monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), today named FNB Bank, Inc., OneUnited Bank, River Valley Bank and Fidelity Bank as its 2017 Social Media and Marketing Leaders. The banks, recognized for their creative use of social media and marketing to build awareness and engage members of their community, are featured in the September issue of Independent Banker magazine.
“These community banks understand that focusing on the human element in their social media and marketing outreach not only increases brand awareness, but also builds and solidifies relationships with local businesses and customers,” said ICBA Group Executive Vice President, Member Engagement and Strategy Chris Lorence. “These creative and innovative community banks should be proud of their efforts. Nearly 100 community banks submitted social media and marketing campaigns for the 2017 Social Media and Marketing Leaders. A panel of judges evaluated submissions based on creatively, engagement and impact.

This is the fifth year Independent Banker has acknowledged community banks for their social and marketing outreach. Webb Mason Marketing in Hunt Valley, Md., sponsored this year’s program.
